About Us

A married couple, one creative team.

We are the Reids, a husband-and-wife wedding photography and videography team based in the Quad Cities. We started this because we love capturing life's biggest moments. Our goal is to create images that bring you right back to the joy, emotion, and memories of your wedding day every time you look at them.

We each have a different eye behind the camera. One focuses on the in-between moments, while the other captures the bigger picture. Together, we create a gallery that tells the full story of your wedding day.

Austyn & Keegan

A blue-sky August wedding on a hilltop just outside Williamsburg. The morning started with a first look with Austyn's dad in the getting-ready suite, and by afternoon the whole party — dog included — was out on the ceremony patio in sage and sand. Keegan wiped away tears before Austyn even reached him. We slipped away for portraits in the field behind the barn while the corn was still tall, then spent the night documenting one of the loudest dance floors of the year, ending with both of them lifted above the crowd.

Guests sat on lawn chairs and hay bales in the grass, and the rest of the day was golf-cart rides and a slow, blue-lit dance floor.

A big summer wedding in Des Moines with energy that never let up. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, the light was unreal, and the night ended perfectly under string lights. This film is the whole day in motion — the chaos, the quiet, and the party that followed.

Film transcript

The morning starts quiet — dresses hung in window light, the wedding party getting ready in a Des Moines suite while the city wakes up outside.

Chloe and Ryan meet for a first look in a courtyard. Ryan turns around, and neither of them says anything for a few seconds.

During the ceremony, Ryan's voice catches on his vows: he promises to keep choosing her on the ordinary days, not just this one.

Golden hour breaks open after the ceremony. We walk them out for portraits while the reception is being set behind them.

The reception fills fast. Toasts from both sides of the family, a first dance that turns into everyone dancing, and a floor that never empties.

The night closes under string lights — Chloe and Ryan alone for one last frame before the music starts again.

A full Quad Cities wedding that started with a quiet first look and ended in a packed reception. We followed Griffyn and Elyse from the getting-ready nerves through riverside portraits to the last dance, capturing every real moment as it happened — the chaos, the stillness, and the celebration that carried the night.

Getting-ready rooms on both sides of the venue: rings, letters, and the low noise of family filling the hallway.

Griffyn waits at the end of a quiet corridor for the first look. Elyse taps his shoulder, and he takes a long moment before turning.

The ceremony runs simple and unhurried — readings from siblings, a ring exchange, and a walk back down the aisle to a full room standing.

Portraits along the Mississippi as the light drops, the river golden behind them.

Speeches land somewhere between funny and wrecking. The room laughs, then goes silent, then laughs again.

The last dance empties out into sparklers and a getaway car, and the day ends the way it started — the two of them, together.

We are based right in the heart of the Quad Cities and shoot across Davenport, Bettendorf, Moline, Rock Island, and Le Claire. Beyond that, we travel — a destination is never a problem, only a plan.

We own our cyclorama studio

Most local teams rent studio time by the hour. We do not — our cyclorama wall is ours, which means seamless white backdrops, controlled lighting, and zero weather backup plans for any session we shoot indoors.

It is perfect for headshots, brand sessions, maternity and newborn portraits, family photos in the dead of winter, and clean editorial bridal portraits you cannot get outdoors.

Yes. Every wedding package includes both of us for the full coverage window — one leading photo, one leading film, trading off as the day needs.

Sneak peeks within 72 hours, the full photo gallery in 4 to 6 weeks, and your wedding film in 8 to 10 weeks.

Everything within about 90 minutes is included. Beyond that we add a simple travel fee, quoted up front with no markup.

A signed agreement and a 30% retainer hold your date. The balance is due two weeks before the wedding, and we can split it monthly.
